I live in the wonderful city of Kansas City, Missouri, where there are numerous pubs and bars. My favorite place to visit when I want to have a drink and hang out with friends is Hamburger Mary's, located in scenic downtown Kansas City. The reason I love this particular bar so much is that the atmosphere is thrilling, some of the hippest people in Kansas City hang out there, and I especially love to visit specifically on Saturday and Monday evenings to watch the karaoke while enjoying beverages on their placemats with friendly people I know. Many of the local performing community gather at Hamburger Mary's on a Monday night for the karaoke, and you won't have more fun anywhere else in Kansas City! Also, Sunday afternoons are a great time to visit because they have live music performances by local bands. The service is great, the drinks are cheap, and I guarantee you'll have a spectacular time! |

Mom, I know you are upset about my decision to get married. You keep telling me it is too soon, but I don't see any reason why I should not marry Stephen. I am of age, mom and you know that. If dad could understand that, why can't you? Liza's mom was crying but in between sobs she managed to say, I know you think I am being unreasonable, Liza and I can't blame you. I understand that you're in love with Stephen and I have no problem with that. What I cannot understand is why you have to settle in Leicester after getting married? Aside from hog roasts in Leicester, what else is there anyway? All I am saying is that it's too far away and I can't stand not seeing you for so long. Can you at least consider that? Liza suddenly felt so guilty. She realized that being so close to her mom, she missed to prepare her for what is about to happen. A heart to heart talk with her mother followed. |

Joe and Rica has been a couple for nearly three years now. Although Rica is at least two years older than Joe, Joe is the more mature one between the two of them. More than Rica, Joe is in control of their relationship. Knowing that Rica tends to be childish at times, Joe makes an effort to be more understanding and patient with her. Rica is glad to have someone like Joe in her life. She often tells her friends that God must love her so much, for allowing her to meet Joe. Rica prays that Joe becomes her husband in the future. Although Rica is not very particular with how her wedding would be like, she thinks that a hog roast wedding is not a bad idea at all and Joe agrees with her. Rica promised herself that she would be a good wife and mother in the future. If it's Joe that she is meant to end up with, then she will be the happiest woman on earth. Joe feels exactly the same way, too. |

Having just returned from England - and having spent much time in pubs in the Peak District, I feel inspired to write about my favorite watering hole.
There are many bars that I like to frequent on any given weekend,and if I had to choose a favourite then I would have to go with the Madison House. With five floors, and numerous patios, the Madison House has become a regular of mine, the drinks are fair priced, the people are enjoyable to be around, and the atmosphere is laid back. There is a place for everyone at the Madison House and that's what I like about it, I can visit any floor, and each one is unique, with it's own vibe. Another thing that impressess me about the Madison House is the staff is friendly and polite, and that is a rarity to find at times. Every night at the Madison House is a good one and I would recommend a visit to check it out, because chances are, you will find something you like there. |
