Buying the right gift for the right person is usually a hard task. In my experience, the more you know somebody, the harder it is. This is because you are expected to reallly find something that match the interests of your friend or relative, sometimes I've even thought of making some handmade gifts. However, it's always easier to investigate before proceeding on the buying phase. Usually I try to discover at least the category of gift the person is interested in - books, music, gadgets, etc. If I don't have a clue, which I have to say happens frequently, I usually go for a paperback novel. It may sound cheap (and actually is), but when you open a book and you find the handwritten inscription, made just for you, it makes always an impression. And finding a good novel is not so hard, especially if the person you are going to give the present is a good reader. But what if he (or she) is not? Then usually I ask his/her friends: What do you think about a book? Usually they have given me precise answers. In the end, listening to friends and relatives is the best way. A collective gift is also an idea, of course. |

I have had a lot of experience staying in caravans for caravan holidays. And my dad was a caravan / motorhome obsessive. When not on holiday, he was always browsing motorhomes for hire to see if he could get a better deal for the next holiday.
I have always found that although in any situation, the proximity between the bathroom and the bedroom area coupled with the thinness of the walls would make the opposite of a relaxing holiday experience. However, as a getaway there is nothing better. with a hotel there is always the worry that the maid will go through your things when she comes in to clean. with a caravan you are free to sprawl and make it as tidy or as neat as you like it. in short, you can treat it like a home. you can come bcak to it and attempt to cook on the tiny stove with the borrowed pots, and instead of feeling like you are in a completely foreign place, it is like you have simply borrowed the flat of a friend of relative. albeit a small and quite cold one. But nevertheless, I find that a caravan holiday is the most relaxing sort of holiday one can have because there is no pressure. You can sleep in and just watch tv if you like, and when you are trying to relax, this sounds perfect to me. |

For anyone that travels a lot will tell you that getting a passport is always one long process. Many think that it is a matter of going to the office and telling the person in charge that you need a passport and it is offered to you. No, it does not go that way one has to meet the required requirements first and then they can get the application forms. The requirements are, you should have a birth certificate, driving license if any, citizen Id and many others. Once you have all these documents then you can get an application form from the immigration office or download it from the website. Make sure that you fill in all your personal information correctly without leaving anything unanswered. When you are through with filling in you can take it to the local post office in your area with the money order or you can mail it. The passport delivery time is never specific so you should keep on checking. You can check your passport status online or you can call the agency. |
