Negative Impacts Associated with Unsightly Untidy Streets

Untidy streets can have an extremely negative impact on the "streetscape" and overall city. It has become increasingly common to neglect duties of placing litter in the bin, as we've relied more and more upon the council to clean up after us with their petrol pressure washers and other high-tech equipment. It can be incredibly dirty and unsightly seeing old decomposed rubbish on the streets. The small can be absolutely putrid and may keep people away from the area which can have a negative effect on immediate businesses. Often where there is a lot of rubbish a city may not look the best and will detract from the general area. It is not an impossible task to be involved in by place rubbish in the bin. Nobody should have to be subjected to dirty rubbish on the streets. This offending rubbish may also get into water ways which can have a disastrous outcome on marine life. As a society we should try our very best at discarding rubbish appropriately and if an individual is found littering they should receive a hefty fine.
